Mission to Singapore Water Show |

The
Milwaukee Water Council in conjunction with WTC Wisconsin will
lead a business mission to Singapore International Water Week 2010 from June 28
- July 2. Designed for leaders from local companies, academic institutions, and
government economic development agencies, this business mission will provide a
number of unique opportunities. |

Trade Policy Update |
| |
|
United
States Trade Representative Ron Kirk issued a statement upon the
delivery to Congress of President Obama's 2010 Trade Policy Agenda and
2009 Annual Report.
The
United States Trade Representative is the President's principal trade
advisor, negotiator, and spokesperson on trade issues, and the USTR is
the lead agency responsible for the development of the President's
Trade Policy Agenda, which by statute must be delivered to Congress by
March first of each year. The Agenda and Report released today review
the Administration's progress on trade issues and outline future
objectives.
The
President has set a goal of doubling U.S. exports in the next five
years to support another two million American jobs. The 2010 trade
agenda explains how USTR will support this National Export Initiative
through new market openings and trade enforcement, as part of a broader
strategy that seeks to strengthen the global trading system and reflect
American values as we uphold our commitments around the world. |

World Trade Center Wisconsin is pleased and excited to announce a
multitude of programs to educate our members in 2010. |

WTCA Update |

|
World Trade Center Association Pavilion at Expo 2010 in Shanghai
Momentum
is building for the opening of the WTCA Pavilion at the Expo 2010 in
Shanghai, and all WTCA members are invited to be part of this important
event. Over 190 countries will be represented, and over 70 million
visitors are expected. The Expo will be May 1 to October 31.
This
will be the first time that the WTCA will have a pavilion in the
International Organization District of the World Expo, and a number of
WTCs have indicated their intention to participate.
WTCA
thanks all those WTCs that provided video and other media to the
Pavilion's technical team for formatting into an overall presentation
to be played for attendees at the WTCA's Pavilion.
